Thank you for your interest in commissioning PHTaylor to do a work of art for you. Peggy will be happy to work with you to create the perfect piece of art for you. You will be required to sign a commission contract with the artist before work can begin. A one-third non-refundable deposit of the agreed upon price is required before work begins, the second one-third payment is due when the work is half way thought the painting process. At this time you will have the option to view the work and make some changes to it if you are not happy. The final third is due upon completion. At this time you have the option of making a few minor changes which must be brought to the artist's attention within six weeks of the final purchase. Or, if when the painting is complete you decide you do not like the work and you do not want it. You can walk away from the project with the first two payments and the art work belonging to the artist.
It should also be noted unless you are purchase the publishing rights to the work, you are only buying the painting and not the right to reproduce the work. These items should be worked out at the time contract is being draw up.
The price of each work is determined by the size of the work and the content.
